KIDS NEED NUTRITION, NOT GOURMET SPREADS

I am not the greatest cook, but am surrounded in my circle of friends by true culinary experts. I’ve stopped beating myself up about this and have realised that for children, food is fuel and not ceremony. If you stick to the basic nutritional guidelines of four to five fruit and vegetables a day, some protein, a little dairy, bread and cereals, your children will be well nourished. Remember that a child’s stomach is small, only about the size of their clenched fist. Keep this in mind when serving their meals.
