DON’T OVER-FILL A YOUNG CHILD’S DAY

Remember back to when it was just you, you could easily rush from one event to another. But when you have children in tow moving from A to B takes
a lot more time. With our three under five’s, we try and plan one event for the morning and sometimes one for the afternoon. These events don’t have to
be fancy affairs – for younger kids it could be as simple as a trip to the supermarket. Sometimes hanging out at home is just as stimulating and much
easier on you.

The ideal day for a toddler is an interesting outing organised for the morning, and free time later in the day for them to discover the world themselves.
That doesn’t mean you just leave them to it, but nor should you feel you have to be a hovering presence. So long as they are safe, and can’t get
up to mischief, let them go!
