Gaining a competitive advantage

The best way is to create an outstanding customer experience. Research indicates that the way people are treated by a company is as important or more important than the quality of the product, service or the price.

Several universities in New Zealand and Australia are studying customer rage. In the United States, 96% of people say they have at least one very bad experience every year. In New Zealand that figure is 72%.

By giving your customers an outstanding experience, you would not necessarily be seen as better but as different – and that is how you will get a competitive advantage.
